Z EV at home plan & AMI promotion

By applying for an EV at home plan and using the promo code WINZEVHM you agree to the following terms and conditions:  

  • Z Energy Limited is running a ‘Win a Smart Charger’ competition (“Promotion”). The Promotion is promoted by Z Energy Limited, of 3 Queen’s Wharf, Wellington, New Zealand (“Z”). 
  • Promotion applies to EV at home plan applications submitted with the WINZEVHM promo code before 11.59pm on 31st October 2023 and that are subsequently accepted for connection by Z.  
  • To be eligible to be entered in the draw to win a smart charger when you sign up to Z EV at home plan, using the promo code WINZEVHM, if not switching electricity retailers immediately, you must have a future-switch date within the promotion period. 
  • If your EV at home plan application is accepted by Z, you will be entered into the draw with the chance to win the ‘prize’. 
  • Prize includes 1 x Evnex E2 Smart Charger + simple installation only. Simple installation includes a 3m cable between your distribution board and charger, installation onto an available node of your distribution board, mounting of the charger onto an internal or external wall and charger set up and testing. Additional costs may be required depending on your home situation (additional cabling) – these are the responsibility of the prize winner.   • If the prize-winner is not willing to pay any additional costs required, they forfeit the right to the prize and Z will redraw a prize-winner. 
  • Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. 
  • Z will select one winner by conducting a random draw from all eligible entries within [5] days of the promotion end date. Z can conduct a further random draw for an alternate winner if it decides, acting reasonably, that the winner or the winner’s entry does not comply with these terms and conditions. 
  • Z will attempt to contact the winner using the contact details provided in the winner’s application to arrange prize delivery and installations within 10 days of the promotion end date. 
  • If the winner does not respond to Z within a reasonable time (as determined by Z) of Z attempting to make contact, then the winner forfeits the right to the prize and Z will redraw a winner.

  • Participation in the promotion is not open to employees of Z Energy Limited or IAG New Zealand.  
  • By providing your email address, you are agreeing to receive additional advertising and promotion for power plans from Z. You can unsubscribe from Z’s power plan advertising and promotions at any time. 
  • Information you provide will be held in accordance with Z’s Privacy Policy found here https://www.z.co.nz/privacy/ 
  • The winner agrees that Z may use your name for promotional reasons. 
  • You must be at least 18 years of age and be the property owner and have all necessary authorities and permissions to install a Evnex E2 Smart Charger on the property or have written permission from the property owner to have the charger installed, such written permission is to be immediately presented for inspection at Z’s request. 
  • You must make a copy of your driver’s licence or passport which matches the name on your entry available for inspection at Z’s request within the timeframe advised by Z. 
  • Installation must be within 3 months of that date that the installation quote is received by the winner. 
  • You will not be eligible to enter or win the prize if installation is at an apartment or a commercial property. 
  • The Promotion is in no way associated with any manufacturer or installer of the prize. 
  • Any failure to comply with these terms and conditions, as determined by Z in its sole discretion, will render your participation in the promotion void. 
  • Z reserves the right to amend or cancel the promotion if it becomes unfeasible for any reason.
